Qualified Supervision

For the Love of You is proud to be offering clinical supervision for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns in the Bay Area! Supervision can be a mixture of online and in-person sessions. Please be aware that at this time we are only able to supervise individuals pursuing licensure in clinical social work (CSW).

OUR APPROACH

Our supervision will address clinical concerns related to your client(s) including but not limited to treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and diagnosing. Additionally, we will address common professional concerns with compassion fatigue, ethics, burn out, countertransference, and boundaries. Supervision is tailored to the needs and skills of the Registered Intern while using a strengths-based approach to build upon your innate abilities to enhance your counseling skills.

Supervisee Minimum Requirements:

  • MSW degree from an accredited university in the state of FL

  • Registered Intern License in the state of Florida.

  • Commitment to regular/ongoing supervision

  • Positive and growth-oriented attitude

THE PROCESS

Prior to Supervision:
Interns receive a registration number from the Department of Health- Board Office for Florida Clinical Social Work. To verify, click here. Supervision hours will not count towards licensure until the intern registration has been issued and the Board has approved your supervisor.

During Supervision:
Two (2) years of post-master’s supervised experience under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker is required for full licensure.
The supervision experience must have consisted of:

  • At least 100 hours of direct supervision in no less than 100 weeks.

  • 1,500 hours of face-to-face psychotherapy with clients

  • One hour of supervision every two weeks

OUR PACKAGES

HOURLY

  • $100 per session

  • 1 supervision session

  • Individual- online/ in person

  • 60-minute session

  • Pay as you go

6 MONTHS

  • $2280 for 6-Months

  • 24 supervision session

  • Individual- combination online/person; at least 12 sessions in person

  • 60-minute sessions  Save $120

​

MONTHLY

  • $380 per month

  • 4 supervision session

  • Individual- combination online/person; at least 2 sessions in person

  • 60-minute session Save $20

GROUP SESSIONS

​Minimum of 3 interns.

If available, there may be opportunities for group supervision at a lesser cost.

  • 1 supervision session

  • group- online/ in person

  • 60-minute sessions
